What a show last night!

Last night was, for me, our best quintet performance—ever—and we were stoked to share it with a full house, livestreamed it, and to have recorded the show for our upcoming EPK updates. Perhaps even more meaningful was the feedback afterwards—including a local who afterwards shared: "when I saw the band name on Alva's website.....I had low expectations....this was the best concert I've ever seen!"

Maybe it was because there was a Crazy Al sighting (and assistance, thx Al!). Maybe it was because of all the tacos that we've eaten on the trip. Maybe it was the stuff they put in those drinks the night before at the Golden Tiki!

Tonight 2/1: our long-ago sold-out tiki house party concert kicks off in La Mesa, AZ. We're getting the full SoCal experience right now—sitting in highway traffic en route from LA ;-) On our way, we're going to give a little surprise to a fan in the area—more on that soon!

Our JazzRoad tour wraps up in my home town of Phoenix, or specifically, Chandler-Gilbert [Community College] tomorrow afternoon 2/2 at the Ward Performing Arts Center. Take note that this is a matinee concert at 4pm—and our first concert in the Phoenix area in about 8 years!
